Supporting Local Charities: Sawley Foodbank and Sea Scouts Kayaks
Harrington Lodge has been actively involved in supporting local charities, including the Sawley Foodbank and the provision of kayaks for the Sea Scouts. Our contributions to the Sawley Foodbank have helped provide essential supplies and support to families in need, especially during challenging times. By volunteering our time and resources, we strive to make a tangible difference in our community, aligning with the broader Masonic commitment to charity and brotherly love.
In addition to our support for the foodbank, Harrington Lodge has also funded kayaks for the local Sea Scouts, fostering outdoor education and leadership skills among young people. Derbyshire 2025 Festival and Provincial Support
Harrington Lodge is proud to participate in the Derbyshire 2025 Festival, an ambitious initiative uniting all Masonic Lodges within Derbyshire with the goal of raising £1.5 million by 2025. This festival exemplifies our commitment to service at a provincial level, demonstrating how the collective efforts of Freemasons can make a significant impact. Through this festival, Harrington Lodge, along with other lodges, supports various causes, including Derbyshire Blood Bikes, local food banks, and Treetops Hospice.
